It is our great honor and pleasure to welcome you to Thessaloniki for the Hellenic-Romanian Society of Surgery Conference, to be held in June 2026. This year’s conference is dedicated to Vascular Oncology, a field that epitomizes the need for close and effective collaboration among multiple medical and surgical specialties. The management of oncologic patients with vascular involvement presents complex diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, requiring the combined expertise of vascular surgeons, general surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other allied specialists. Over the course of three days, the scientific program will feature round tables, special lectures, and focused controversy sessions designed to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, share advanced techniques, and discuss evolving strategies in the treatment of these demanding cases. Our goal is to foster meaningful exchange of knowledge and experience, ultimately translating into improved patient outcomes. This conference also reflects the strong and growing collaboration between the Hellenic and Romanian surgical communities, united by shared scientific values and a commitment to innovation, education, and excellence in patient care.
