3. Purchase of Tickets
Users can purchase tickets for the HEROES conferences exclusively online, through the payment processor Netopia Payments. Payments are secured, and users must provide correct information when placing orders. Registration for the event is made after receiving confirmation on the email address provided.
4. Access to the Event
Access to the conference is based on a QR code attached to the badge that you will receive at the entrance.
5. Returns and Cancellations
Placed orders can be canceled, but no money is returned. Purchased tickets are non-refundable, except in cases where the event is canceled by the organizers. In the event of an event postponement, tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date.
6. Registration as a Member
Persons interested in joining HEROES must submit an application for membership to the Association Secretariat. Applications are reviewed by the Committee, which proposes candidates for voting at the General Assembly.
Annual membership fee: EUR 50 for specialist doctors; free for residents.
Founding members automatically become regular members of the Association.
Regular members are required to pay the annual fee.
Honorary members are prominent figures in the field of surgery, recognized for their contribution to achieving the objectives of the Association.
7. Rights and Obligations of Members
HEROES members have the following rights:
- To elect and be elected to the governing bodies of the Association.
- To be informed about all activities carried out by the Association.
- To participate in the organization and carrying out of the Association’s activities.
- To propose activities and contribute to achieving the Association’s objectives.
- To represent the Association based on a written mandate in national and international discussions and activities.
- HEROES members have the following obligations:
- To respect the Association’s statute and the decisions adopted by it.
- To pay the annual membership fee.
- To actively participate in the proper functioning of the Association and contribute to promoting its image.
- To immediately inform the Association’s bodies about the actions taken on its behalf.
- To refrain from any action that could harm the Association’s objectives and image.
8. Loss of Membership
Membership is lost by:
- Voluntary withdrawal, by written notification addressed to the President of the Association.
- Exclusion, according to the provisions of the Association’s statute.
- Death or dissolution of the Association.
- Sanctions for breach of obligations include: – Verbal warning. / – Written warning.
- Exclusion from the Association.
- Decisions regarding sanctions are made by the Board of Directors. Sanctioned members may file an appeal within 10 days, and the final decision will be made at the next General Assembly.
9. Applicable Legislation
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts of Craiova, Dolj County.
